Add Custom Category Splits

Category splits are used when a percentage (%) of a particular category is being split OTHER than an even 50/50.  For example Sports can be a 60/40 split. 

To add a Category Split, click the Case Management Icon on the left side of the screen

This will take you to the Case Management Page. Select the Support Order Tab.

Scroll to the Category Splits Section and click the green Add Split button

 

This will open the Category Split window.

  1. Select the Category/SubCategory
  2. Select the appropriate child
  3. Enter either your share/percentage or the other parent's share.  The system will calculate the other parent's share
  4. Verify the information on the screen and click the green Save button

The category split will appear in the Category Split section
