This is one of the big benefits of SupportPay. Every expense can be disputed if the other parent does not agree with the item. At the point that the expense is disputed it is removed from the total due and moved to the “disputed” bucket. In order to dispute an item the parent has to provide a proposed amount they are willing to pay and a reason why they are disputing the item. This can go back and forth up to 3 times. If a resolution can not be agreed upon by both parents then the item remains in the “disputed” bucket which can then be taken to your lawyer, mediator or judge to help mediate the item. In the future, we are looking to offer the ability to have immediate access to an independent mediator that can mediate items immediately.
