# How to Fix the "Bank Account Info Not Matching" Error

If you’re receiving a **"Bank account info not matching"** error when registering for bank transfers, it means that the banking details you entered do not match the information on file with your bank.

**Why Is This Happening?**

- The banking information you provided does not exactly match your bank’s records.
- This could be due to a typo, an incorrect account or routing number, or a mismatch in the account holder’s name.

**How to Resolve It**

1. **Double-check your banking details** – Ensure the account number, routing number, and account holder’s name are entered exactly as they appear on your bank statements.
2. **Re-enter your banking information** – Correct any errors and submit your details again.
3. **Be mindful of the attempt limit** – You have **3 attempts** to enter the correct banking information before further action may be required.
