# Why Am I Getting An Error When Trying To Send A Payment?

If you’re trying to send a payment and receive an error, it may be because your account is **not registered withSupportPay or the Bank Transfer Registration Process has not been completed**.

**Why Is This Happening?**

- Your payment cannot be processed because your account is not currently registered with Mastercard.
- As a result, the payment will be **canceled and aborted** automatically.

**How to Fix It**

1. **Register your account in SupportPay** – You must complete the Bak Transfer Registration process in SupportPay before sending payments.
2. **Try sending the payment again** – Once registered, you should be able to process payments without issues.
